Our History
I opened Louis Little Haven in Durno in 2013 after I decided to share my passion for vintage with the world. I have been collecting since the age of 10 so I had a good stock to start the shop off with. The shop was named after my Chocolate Labrador Louis.
Then...
In 2017 the opportunity came to open a second shop, and I called it Bryony's Boutique, this shop was based in Insch (the shop was named after my Basset Hound Bryony). Here we offered a slightly different service with a mix of vintage and new. On the vintage side we had gorgeous crockery and curios, a selection of vintage clothing and costume jewellery.
New items included a quirky selection of gift ideas, cards & gift wrap along with some lovely and unique home ware items.
Roll on 2022...
The opportunity to move both shops in to one arose. We took on the lease of the old corner shop in Insch (known locally as "Butchart" which was a grocers) We did extensive work to the shop to turn it into a magical shopping "Haven". Bringing back a traditional retail experience, with a modern twist to the Vintage and Antique shopping industry.
My partner Billy Milne who specialises in silver, gold & maritime now has stunning antique items available in the shop.
Louis Little Haven offers a large selection of vintage goods from home ware and furniture to books & curios. If you cant see something you are looking for please ask as we are likely to have it hidden away somewhere!
There's also a mix of candles, cards, soaps and giftware available to purchase.

FAQ
Can you reserve items?
Items can be reserved for one week only - after this the item will be put back on to shop floor. Deposits or full payments can be made by bank transfer or pay pal to secure the item. It must be collected within 2 weeks.
Does Louis Little Haven buy in items?
Yes!
We buy in vintage and antique items (Gold & Silver also) depending on our stock level and what it is. Please send us pictures before hand.
Appointments can be arranged for either us to come to you (if there is a lot of items i.e house clearance) or we can arrange a time for you to come to the shop.
PLEASE NOTE WE DO NOT BUY WHEN THE SHOP IS OPEN
